Electric Lamp Base Stands for lighting up your Full Size Original petrol pump globes.
Base (200mm) for any original Petrol Globe.
Full Size Globes : These would normally stand between 13 - 17 inches tall with a diameter of approx 15-17 inches wide. The bottom of the globes would normally be 6 to 7.5 inches
The 200mm Lamp Base has a spring clip which is protected by a plastic seal so that the metal clip is not against the glass of your globe. Because of the delicate nature of original glass globes there is very little tension from the spring clip, this is so that any minor defects with your globe(cracks/broken pieces) will not be put under major pressure from the clip.
The bulb illuminates the globe nicely when in place.
This gives a great ambient light centrally inside the globe.
My illuminated globe stand is for a UK Mains power supply and can be used with an LED screw in type bulb.
